Video "working on ladders"
- Are you securing yourself on a ladder? If you are on a ladder higher than 5 metres, you must be secured with fall protection. The most common injuries when working at heights occur when working on a ladder. This is either due to poor ladder fixation or underestimating the difficulty of the work involved. The ladder will slip, tip over or move out of its support position, which can cause injury.
- The video demonstrates the correct fixing and ascent of a ladder with a fall arrest device and securing the person for the work. If you would like to learn more about the issues involved in working on a ladder, sign up for our training.
